Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Network Engineer to join our team in Secaucus, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering and be responsible for providing proactive IT support, network monitoring, and performance tuning across multiple secure networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive IT support and network monitoring, performance tuning, and testing for potential weaknesses across multiple secure networks.
- Deploy and maintain small- and large-scale LAN/WAN networks, including wireless networks.
- Configure and administer network security-related products, zero trust solutions, secure remote access, DDOS, SIEM, threat protection, etc.
- Utilize network monitoring and management tools including SNMP, Syslog, Netflow, RMON, etc.
- Configure and manage Cisco ISE for RADIUS, TACACS, NAC, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Create high-quality network diagrams and documentation.
- Provide after-hours/on-call support duties as required.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in network engineering.
- Experience in deploying and maintaining both small- and large-scale LAN/WAN networks, including wireless networks.
- Proficiency with Layer 2 switching protocols such as STP, HSRP, and VLAN.
- Expertise in Layer 3 routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
- Strong background in configuring and administering network security products, zero trust solutions, secure remote access, DDOS, SIEM, and threat protection.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools such as SNMP, Syslog, Netflow, and RMON.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco ISE for RADIUS, TACACS, NAC, and connectivity troubleshooting.
